01 · The objective
The Shed Holistics is a performance and mental coaching practice in Westmeath, delivered mostly in person. The coaching ran on manual admin, and a single booking took several messages back and forth.
Session notes were handwritten and filed on paper, and payments were not linked to any client record. The teaching material the owner prepares had no single home, which made it hard to grow beyond one-to-one work.
02 · Our approach
Through the Local Enterprise Office's Digital for Business programme, AppAdvisor advised on connecting the tools and opening new channels. The owner went with a practice management system and AI note-taking, and we showed how to use AI and document the processes.
The recommendations focused on three areas.
A practice management system to bring them together, so payments and notes sit with the client record.
One place for the material the owner prepares, so it can be reused and shared.
An online platform to sell programmes, supported by an AI-assisted website.
03 · The outcome
Session records move off paper into a secure digital system, which also closes a real data-handling risk, as the notes hold sensitive personal information.
The business now has a way to scale past one-to-one sessions, with a best-practice proposal to follow.
