01 · The objective
Galway City Physiotherapy is a well-established private clinic with a growing patient base. It already ran on cloud clinical software with IT support and a website that performed well, so it was in good shape.
Bookings still came mostly through phone calls, and calls could be missed when reception was busy or clinicians were with patients. Some security details around devices, access and backups needed tightening.
02 · Our approach
Because the clinic was already well set up, AppAdvisor assessed its needs and focused on reducing admin and tightening security rather than starting from scratch. We also guided the practice through the grant application process.
The recommendations focused on three areas.
An AI receptionist and booking tool, advised to answer overflow calls and take bookings, easing pressure on reception.
AI clinical note tools and an online exercise-prescription tool, recommended to save clinicians time.
A review set out to bring devices, access and backups up to current GDPR standards.
