01 · The objective
Lentech Services is a respected engineering contractor in Offaly. Its site work was well run, but the systems around it were still on paper.
The finances were kept in a spreadsheet, the weekly hours came in by message, and each service report was written by hand on site, then typed up again back at the office before an invoice could go out. The work was effectively done twice.
02 · Our approach
Through the Local Enterprise Office's Digital for Business programme, AppAdvisor sat in, compared job management systems and made a single recommendation, which the business went with.
The recommendations mapped a move onto connected cloud systems, with IT security and backup behind them.
