Cloud accountancyAer AccountsThe problem. Aer Accounts is a young cloud-based accountancy practice serving small and medium businesses. It already ran on cloud bookkeeping and Google Workspace, so the tools were not the issue.
What we advised. The answer was structure rather than new tools for their own sake. A practice management system was advised to hold client records, jobs, deadlines and a secure client portal, with cloud accounts production for year-end work.
Read the case studyThe problem. Senator Windows supplies and installs windows and doors across new build, replacement and retrofit projects in South Tipperary. The office had no CRM, so customer details sat in physical files and handwritten notes that staff had to search through.
What we advised. A CRM and job management system built for the trade was compared and agreed, to bring customer management, quotes and job tracking into one place. Cloud accounting was advised to replace the separate books, with stock control to improve visibility, and automation of repetitive admin at a later stage.
Environmental training and consultancyLiving WoodlandsThe problem. Living Woodlands is a Tipperary social enterprise providing training and consultancy in biodiversity restoration and community environmental projects. It works with schools, community groups and local authorities, delivering most of its work in person.
What we advised. AppAdvisor built a full custom CRM, with AI, reporting, calculations and material ordering built in, delivered end to end. This lets a small team manage more enquiries and clients without the manual load, so it can support more communities.
Read the case study“Working with App Advisor was a very worthwhile experience. I feel very equipped after meeting the lads. Their guidance helped us streamline our internal software and establish a clear, modern digital setup for the practice.”
“Working with Joe on the digital programme was a very positive experience; he brought clarity and structure to our digital strategy and gave us practical advice on systems that we can continue to build on long after the programme.”
“We recently worked with Jack and Joe from App Advisor on a project funded through our local LEO. From the very beginning they were a pleasure to work with. They genuinely took the time to really understand the specific needs our our business and what improvements could have a meaningful impact on the day-today running of Living Woodlands. Once the most suitable measures had been identified they went above and beyond to help us implement them - providing us with clear cost-benefit analyses and jargon-free recommendations. We are absolutely delighted with the digital systems we have put in place as a result of the project. I can’t recommend App Advisor highly enough!”
